Ranaviru Meetup

This blog was started for tech related stuff and this is totally off topic. But the Heroes of our Nation are never out of topic.

‎RanaviruMeetup‬ was an initiative by a bunch of like-minded people in the Sri Lankan Twitter sphere to honor and support the forgotten by many Heroes of the Nation. Last year they gifted many essential things to Ragama Ranaviru Sevana. Visited the place and reminded those heroes that there are still people out here who remember and value their sacrifices.

This year #Ranavirumeetup is back with a bigger goal. The goal of providing them 20 wheelchairs (they need 35) at Rs. 30000 per each which is Rs. 600,000. This is a goal which can not be fulfilled without our support. Let's gather to help the team to achieve their golas.

Let's join to bring a smile on the faces of the People who has given us the freedom of living without fear. They are the reason for us to live safe without the fear of getting dismantled to pieces so tiny that our bodies will not be recognized and our families will have to bury a coffin with just some part of us in it. They sacrificed their future to safeguard our present and future. Let's get together to make their day a little bit better.
